BluSKY Video Architecture

BluBØX™ provides two architectures for integrating with Milestone XProtect™ Corporate/Expert; On Premises and Direct to Cloud. In the case of On Premises architecture, the BluSKY plug-in is installed on the local Milestone server or any server on the network. In the case of the Direct to Cloud architecture, the local cameras store video on a micro SD card or network attached storage device and use Milestone hosted in the BluBØX™ Cloud. On premises architecture should be used for systems that require the full functionality of the Milestone NVR. Direct to Cloud architecture is appropriate for small systems that need limited NVR functionality. Using either architecture, the BluSKY integration works the same and provides the same features and benefits for any Milestone system.
