BluSKY Navigation Overview

Welcome to the BluSKY Navigation Overview

When you first log in to BluSKY you are brought to the Home Page.

On larger screens the navigation menu appears across the top of the page. On smaller screens the menu appears as a “hamburger” in the upper right corner.  Selecting the hamburger  reveals the menu. Selecting a menu item reveals the sub menu. Selecting a submenu navigates to the particular page.

The page title is below the BluBØX logo and often times includes the filter criteria of the information being displayed on the page

Clicking on the BluBØX Logo in the upper left corner navigates back to the Home Page.

The “Favorites” buttons in the middle of the screen are shortcuts to the most common security tasks. These include things like inviting guests, adding a person, opening a door or running a report.

Remember that all buttons and menu selections are based upon your permissions.  If you don’t have permissions to perform a task, then those buttons and menu items won’t be visible to  you.

The “Favorites” menu also provides shortcuts to the most common security tasks. Having these in the Main Menu allows a user to access “Favorites” from any screen without having to go back to the Home Page.

The “Requests” menu also provides navigation to guest invitations and other types of requests.

The “Administration” menu provides navigation for day to day system administration tasks such as management of people, companies, permissions, access levels, etc.

The “Setup” menu is a “mega menu” and provides navigation to systems configurations, facilities, customers, groups and system diagnostic tools.

The “Control” menu provides navigation to real time system control, status, monitoring and processing.

The “Reports” menu provides navigation to standard reports.

Above the Main Menu is a small Secondary Menu.

The Language menu selects the language for BluSKY.  Currently only US English is available but BluSKY has internationalization and localization support for all languages.

The “Help” menu provides context-sensitive page level help. Selecting the Help on any page in BluSKY will pull up the help screen for that particular page.

The “Customer Support” menu provides the ability to create an online support case with BluBØX.

Lastly, the “User” menu provides the ability to reset your password or log out of BluSKY.

This concludes the BluSKY Navigation Overview Video.
