Overview

The 'Import Persons' feature in BluSKY is a powerful tool that allows for the bulk importation of person records into the system. It's designed to streamline the process of adding new users to your access control system. Below is a detailed guide describing each field within this feature.

Select a System:

This dropdown menu requires you to select the specific system you want to import persons into. It is a mandatory field, so you must make a selection to proceed.

Export Existing Data/Download Template: Download Person Details?:

Here, you can choose 'Yes' or 'No' to determine whether to export existing data or to download a template for the import.
Export Button: After selecting 'Yes' to download person details, click this button to export the current list of persons in the system.
Description: This optional text field allows you to add a description or notes about the photos you are uploading for the persons.

Upload Photos:

This field has a toggle switch set to 'No' by default. If you need to upload photos along with the person details, toggle this to 'Yes'.
When set to 'Yes', you'll be prompted to upload the corresponding photographs for the person records.

Email results to:

Enter the email address where you would like to receive the results of the import process. This is a mandatory field.

Import Spreadsheet:

This icon represents the action to import a spreadsheet containing person record information.
Clicking this will prompt you to select and upload the spreadsheet file.

Save Button: After uploading the spreadsheet, click the 'Save' icon to initiate the import process.

Back To Filter: Clicking this icon takes you back to the previous filter view without proceeding with the import.
