Procedure List

Screen Overview

The Procedure List screen lets administrators search and review controller procedures configured in BluSKY (e.g., Mercury procedures/macros). Use filters to narrow by System and Controller, search by procedure name, and control which records are returned (active/inactive). This screen is used primarily during system setup and troubleshooting.

System Behaviors and Edge Cases

  • Controller list is context-sensitive and is filtered after a System is selected.
  • If no criteria are entered and you click Submit, the system returns procedures according to the default View (typically All Active) and your permissions.
  • Search Text is typically case-insensitive and performs partial matches on procedure names.
  • While the query runs, a spinner and “Stand by…” message display. Large systems may take longer to return results.
  • If no procedures match, Procedure Count shows 0 and the list area remains empty.
  • Users only see Systems, Controllers, and Procedures for which they have view permission; unavailable items are hidden.

Permissions

  • Requires access to the Setup module and permission to view Systems, Controllers, and Procedures.
  • Visibility of Systems/Controllers is scoped by the user’s site/tenant permissions.
  • Edit or creation of procedures (if available elsewhere) requires elevated roles; this screen is typically read-only.

Linked Workflows

  • From a returned procedure (when results are displayed), navigate to the Controller detail to review related inputs/outputs and hardware configuration.
  • Use the Controller configuration screens to modify or upload procedures, then return to Procedure List to verify changes.
  • Audit or troubleshooting workflows: filter by Controller, locate the procedure, then pivot to logs/monitoring under Control or Intelligence (if enabled).

  • None.
