System Configuration

Summary

Need a way to guide an Integrator through creating a NEW system and all its components.  The integrator should be able to stop and come back later to pick up where the left off.  The Integrator should not leave the form to complete any page.  Should be a tabbed interface in the proper order.  The tabs should be displayed as the prerequisite tabs are completed.

 

Engineering Tasks:

 

• Need to have link to point customer to best practices article in BluINFO.  Documentation needs to create the documentation and link for Engineering.
  • Document this menu item, but also talk about holidays, rules, triggers (Command, procedures), Roles, Access Levels, Vendor Management….  This will need to be spec'd out as well.
• Note: Need to have a page that will display an integrator's customers, their systems and all the equipment in them in and hierarchical format, This is a report page.
•  Power Controller work flow.  This will be another work flow, but we should have a tab to access a new Power controller configuration page.  A new requirements documentation will be needed for this feature.
• Move System Setup - Quick functionality to "System Configuration"… as follows:
  • Add "Copy System", "Use Template", "Import from Spreadsheet" buttons to the bottom of the view list.
  • Remove the "System Setup - Quick functionality"
• Removing the "Systems" menu item from System setup menu, now redundant
• Remove dedicated menu items that have tabs in the system configuration page. Ex.

  • Portals

Note: Have the ability to create Customer on the fly.

Note: When System is created create the base roles from templates.  Create PBI.

    • Edit screen should ask about synchronizing the monitoring point name

Requirements:

• Create System page:
  • Need to have Customer New button.  Needed if Integrator came to the page not having a customer, do not want them to leave and come back.
• Need a Pre-Configuration questions/setup tab
  • This tab will ask questions and based on these questions will create the other tabs
