How to Create a Rule That Triggers from Door Forced

Overview

How to trigger off when a door forced.

Instructions 

  1. Create a Trigger
  2. Create an Command
  3. Create a Procedure (see Create Procedure for all fields)
  4. Sync Controller

 

Create Trigger

  1. Trigger Source Type: Portal: Portal Position Sensor
  2. Transaction Type: Door Status Monitor Change of State.
  3. Transaction Code: Alarm (Forced - held open or both).
  4. Trigger Schedule: Access 24/7 (Global)
  5. Portal: Choose the preferred portal.
  6. Select Create

Create a Command (See Create Command for all fields)

  1. Command Type: Control Point Command
  2. Control Point: Choose the preferred control point. (Same as triggers)
  3. Control Point Command: Choose the preferred type of command for this feature.
  4. Purse On Duration: This is to display how long the alarm pulses when triggered.
  5. Pulse Off Duration: This is for the gap between from on pulse to the other. (Used when repeating pulse is selected)
  6. Repeat Count: To choose how many time the alarm pulses.
  7. Select Create

  1. Trigger: Select the Trigger created earlier.
  2. Assigned Commands: Select the command you want and then select the > button to move your selection to this box.
  3. Select Create
Sync Controller
  1. Make sure to Sync your changes to the controller using the Controller-Door-Floor Diagnostic tool (Select your controller and sync controller)
