Create a System



The System is the base unit for configuring an access control system. This article provides instructions on how to configure a new System for BluSKY.


  1. Log in and navigate to Systems. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup-> System-> Create 
  2. Use the  icon in the lower left side to create a new System.

Create System

  1. Enter the Name of the System.
  2. Use the toggle to indicate if the this System is the Base Building System
    • Note: While not required it can make administration easier in the future. 
  3. Select the Integrator responsible for the System from the drop down menu.
  4. Optional: Specify the required PIN length.
  5. Select the Customer.
  6. Optional: Use the toggle to indicate if PIN should be unique.
  7. Optional: Specify a Default Badge Template.
  8. Determine the default behavior of the Monitoring Points of the System.
  9. Set the default behavior for Forced Open Portal events​.
  10. Set the default behavior for Held Open Portal events.
  11. When finished use the shortCreateBtn.png button to finish.
