Overview
Input are simple electrical circuits that provide information to the access control system. Inputs can range from a simple door contact to high tech zone motion detection.

Search Criteria
The Input List is almost always massive in size. We recommend using the Search Fields to save time.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| AC System | This field limits search results to a specific Access Control System |
| Controller | This field limits search results to a specific Controller |
| SIO Board | This field limits search results to a specific SIO Board |
| Search Text | This field is used to limit the number of rows listed in the list box below. To use simply type a string of characters or words. Please note you will only see those items you have the permission and access rights for. It is a good idea to search first, even when you are creating a new entry. |
| View | View will bring you to the view screen. Use this to look up information on existing entities and access Audit Info. |
| Submit | This button performs a search based on the criteria selected in the filter. |
| Reset | This button clears all fields in order to start a new search. |
List Definitions
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the Input |
| Input Number | The corresponding numbered input on the SIO Board or Controller |
| Debounce | This setting gives a small bit of time to make a complete circuit again. Typically used to wait for a door to stop moving when shut. |
| Hold Time | The number of seconds to hold a higher priority status before a lower priority status is reported. The recommend setting is 2 through 15.Typically used to delay a motion detector from trigger to fast, wait for a longer signal before triggering. |
| Deleted | If checked, entry is deleted from BluSKY. |
| SIO Board | The SIO Board or Controller the Input is connected to. |
