Delete a Controller

Overview
The Controller serves as the brain of the access control system and is also how BluSKY is able to make the connection to the physical world from the cloud. This article will cover how to delete a Controller.
Deletion Considerations
When deleting a Controller, it is important to understand other objects in BluSKY that can be affected.
- Main parent association: System
- Child associations: Command, IPS Group, Portal, SIO Board, Trigger
Since a Controller will almost always have multiple child associations, note that deleting a Controller with associated objects will cause those objects to not show up in BluSKY searches. Also note that deleting a Controller does not mark these associated objects as deleted.
Delete a Controller
- Log in and navigate to Controller. Main Menu-> Setup-> Setup-> Controller
- Use the search option in the top left and then select from the list below.
- Click the
icon in the lower left side of the screen. - Confirm the deletion with the
button.
