Overview
Roles are a collection of permissions that can be granted to one or more people serving a similar function in a facility. This article will provide details on how to delete a Role.
Role Deletion Considerations
Despite the fact that a Role has no child associations, there is still special consideration needed for other objects when deleting a Role:
- Main parent association: Varies on role scope (System Group, System, Facility, or Occupancy)
- Child associations: N/A
Specifically, it is advised to remove the Role from any Person who has it before deleting the Role, or else the deleted Role may visually persist on the Person's page after deletion.
Delete a Role
- Log in and navigate to Roles. Main Menu-> Administration-> Roles
- Use the search option in the top left and then select from the list below.
- Click the
icon in the lower left side of the screen. - Confirm the deletion with the
button.
