Edit a Command

Overview

It may be necessary to change certain parameters of a Command. However, there are only certain field that can be changed. There is no way to change the System or Controller, if it necessary to change this field you will be forced to create a new Command. This article will detail the steps for changing the other parameters such as Description and the fields determined by the Command Type.

Edit a Command's Description or Name

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the Description field to enter a new Description/Name of the Command.

ACR Mode Control

Change a Command's Portal

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the Portal drop down menu to select the correct Portal.

Change a Command's Portal Mode

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the Portal Mode drop down menu to select the correct Portal Mode.

Control Point Command

Change a Command's Control Point

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the Control Point drop down menu to select the correct Control Point.

Change a Command's Control Point Command

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the Control Point Command drop down menu to select the correct Control Point Command.

Edit a Command's Pulse Duration

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the Pulse On/Off Duration field to adjust the pulse of the Control Point.

Edit a Command's Repeat Count

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the Repeat Count field to enter the correct Repeat Count.

Access Area Control Command

Change a Command's IPS Group

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the IPS Group drop down menu to select the correct IPS Group.

Change a Command's Command Type

  1. Log in and navigate to Commands. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup -> Commands
  2. Select the entry you wish to edit from the list.
  3. Click the editButtonNoText.png icon in the lower left side of the screen.
    • Note: If the edit button is not available ensure that only one entry has been highlighted.
  4. Use the Command Type drop down menu to select the correct Command Type.
