Camera List Definitions
Name | Description |
---|---|
Model | This field indicated the model number of the camera. |
Name | The name assigned to the camera. |
Description | This field is used to provide additional information. |
Inserted By | The name of the login who created this entry in BluSKY. |
Date Updated | The date this entry was last updated. |
Updated By | Who make the last update to this entry. |
Date Deleted | The date this entry was disabled or deleted from BluSky. |
Deleted By | Name of person who disabled this entry. |
Camera Definitions
Name | Description |
---|---|
Name | The name chosen to identify the Camera. Choose descriptive names that allow for easy administration and maintenence. |
Model | The model number assigned to the Camera. |
System | The System using the Camera. |
Facility | The name of the Facility using the Camera. |
Description | This field provides additional information that is related to the Camera. |
Serial Number | A unique number assigned to the device by the manufacturer, that is used to identify the specific item. |
Camera Type | This identifies the type of Camera being used. |
Login | The account name used to access the Camera. |
Password | The password used to access the Camera. |
Portal | If used, this will identify the Portal that is being monitored by the Camera. This can be important when creating Video event capture via Rules. |
Recording Server | The name of the recording server that is storing the Video feed. |
External Camera Id | Additional information used to identify the Camera outside of BluSKY. |
IP Address | An Internet Protocol address is a numerical label assigned to each device (e.g., computer, printer) participating in a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. |
Subnet Mask | A subnet mask is used to break an IP network into logical subdivision. |
Default Gateway | A default gateway in computer networking is the node that is assumed to know how to forward packets on to other networks. |
Public IP Address | A public IP address is a globally routable IP address, meaning that the address is not an address reserved for use in private networks. |
Lens Info | Information on the lens that is beign used by the Camera. |
Stream URL | The URL where the stream from the Camera can be viewed. |
HRes | Horizontal Resolution. |
VRes | Vertical Resolution. |
Fps | Frames per second. |

Search Criteria
Name | Description |
---|---|
System | Name of the access control system. |
Search | This field is used to specify which records should be searched. The options are Active, Deleted and Active + Deleted. |
Search Text |
This field is used to limit the number of rows listed in the list box below. To use simply type a string of characters or words. Please note you will only see items for which you have the permission and access rights. We recommend a search first, even when you are creating a new entry. |
View | These settings control how the information is displayed. For Cameras there are two options, All and Custom. |
Submit | Starts search based on the criteria selected in the two prior steps. |
Reset | Clears all fields in order to start a new search. |

Will bring you to the create screen. Use this if the entity does not exist in the BluSKY database. Be extremely careful not to create duplicates with slightly different names. |

View will bring you to the view screen. Use this to look up information on existing entities and access Audit Info. |

Edit will enable you to edit the selection you chose. |

Delete allows for removal of the entity from the BluSKY database. |

Expand adds additional columns to the Integrator information displayed on the List page. The icon now displays as Shrink. |
