Overview
Rules are a great way to enforce the different policies of a building. When a Portal is unlocked it allows unrestricted access. In some cases, a building may want to enact special procedures when the building is not 100% secure. In this example, we show how to notify a group of people via a Distribution List that a Portal has been unlocked.

This Rule is typical of a Rule you may see at a Facility where security procedure should be followed if the system enters a less secure state. If anyone overrides the normal schedule all of the managers and department heads included in the Distribution List will be notified by email. If just sending an email is not enough? You may want to consider pairing this Rule with another more visual cue in a Complex Rule.
