Prompt:

  • Introducing Prompt, an AI-powered prompt management to the platform. This new feature simplifies the creation, use, and automation of prompts, allowing users to interact using text or voice commands. Prompts can be shared, edited, or locked for security and can even run automated tasks like scheduling reports or analyzing data, making workflows faster and smarter.

UDC Enhancements:

  • Improved Search Functionality:
    • Enhanced the Left Navigation by enabling person/device search for un-fetched occupancy and devices. Users no longer need to expand sections before searching, streamlining navigation and improving efficiency.
  • Dashlet Header Enhancements:
    • Improved the dashlet header visibility on the UDC page, making it more prominent with better contrast against the background for clearer distinction and readability.

  • Device Display Enhancements:
    • Controller Device Support: When selecting a Controller Device from the Left Navigation, the system now displays the device’s interface in the middle pane instead of a blank screen, providing more informative feedback.
       
  • Dashlet Filter Enhancements:
    • Added filters for all dashlets, enabling users to apply filters dynamically without reloading or resetting the middle pane. The filter page remains accessible after the initial selection, ensuring a smoother and more consistent filtering experience.

Camera Configuration

  • Auto Association Enhancements:
    • Redis Cache Synchronization: The Camera Configuration page now updates the Redis cache whenever device associations change, ensuring synchronization across all device types for a more consistent experience.
    • Azure Redis Cache Improvements: Enhanced the Azure Redis cache to store Person Reader data, enabling faster access and improved system performance.
    • Device Selection During Camera Creation: The Associated Devices section now allows users to select devices when creating a camera, streamlining the setup process, and displays all devices in the dropdown if no system or building is selected, offering greater flexibility in device configuration.

  • Dynamic UDC Headers: Modified the Event UDC headers to display associated devices based on the device association preference type and threshold value, providing more contextually relevant information.

  • Person Reader Events Analyzer: Enhanced the Person Reader Events Analyzer to dynamically read and reflect updated Person Reader names, ensuring accurate event tracking and analysis.

  • Device List Refresh: Added a refresh icon to all device dropdowns in the Associated Devices section, allowing users to update the device list as needed without needing a full page reload.

Log Book:

  • The Log Book module is a centralized digital record-keeping system designed for security officers to capture and manage real-time incident data efficiently. It supports multimedia attachments, AI-assisted categorization, and comprehensive reporting and analytics. Additionally, the module integrates Whisper for voice input and natural language processing to enable accurate transcription and categorization of log entries.
  • Log Entries List Screen:
    • Filter Options:
      • Facility Filter – Displays logs based on the selected facility/building.

  • Log Book Type – Categories include Check-In, General, Elevator, Lighting, and Incident logs.

  • Date Filter – A calendar widget for selecting logs from a specific date or a custom date range.

Log Entry Creation Screen: A structured form for security officers to create and submit log entries quickly and accurately using text or voice input.

  • System & Facility Selection – Drop-downs to select the relevant system and facility.
  • Log Book Type – Categorized into Check-In, General, Elevator, Lighting, and Incident logs.
  • Review Required – A toggle button to indicate whether a log entry needs review.
  • Title – A short descriptor for quick identification.
  • Location – A field to enter the incident location.
  • User Input – A detailed description field with integrated voice input support via Whisper.
  • AI Description Generator – A "Generate" button that processes user input and provides an AI-assisted description for enhanced log accuracy.

We are excited to announce the latest update to the Person Reader, introducing expanded hardware support and enhanced camera compatibility to improve performance and versatility.

  • Expanded NVIDIA Orin Support:
    • The Person Reader software now runs on NVIDIA Orin modules, including Orin Nano and Orin NX.
    • Previously limited to Jetson Nano with JetPack 4, this update enables support for up to JetPack 6, unlocking the latest CUDA-related computing capabilities for enhanced AI processing and efficiency.
  • DS455 Camera Compatibility:
    • The Person Reader now supports the new DS455 camera, allowing for both vertical and horizontal alignment.
