New Features

HID Integration with BluID - Previously, if you had HID Bluetooth credentials you needed to download the HID App to configure and gain access. Now you can simply use the BluSKY App to manage, configure, and provide access for your HID mobile credentials.

BluSKY iOS and Android app 1.3.5 Update:

  • Added pull down to Refresh/Reload on BluID screen.

  • Reduced the vertical space between Back button and BluID cards on BluID screen. (iPhone 7 & iPhone 8 plus)

  • Reduced the spacing below Settings header on Settings screen. (iPhone 7 & iPhone 8 plus)

  • "Allow mobile access when" Foreground spelling error

  • Diagnostic Log - corrected "Turn on" to "Turn ON" on settings screen

  • Added a border line below Settings header on Settings screen.

  • Allowed Mobile Access When Screen "Back" button gets overlaid. (iPhone 7 - Zoomed View

  • Fixed scroll issue, unable to scroll till the end of diagnostic logs. (iPhone 7 & iPhone 8 plus)

  • Fixed firmware update popup title gets cropped on Nearby Readers screen. (iPhone 7 & iPhone 12 mini - Zoomed View)

  • Increased clickable area for back button in Reader Management, Nearby reader & Reader Configuration screen)

  • Fixed reader disconnects after tapping on locate button from reader configuration screen 

  • BluSKY apps for both iOS and Android now supports Rise integration 

  • New feature - Now has the ability to scan all HID devices to transfer their credentials to BluSKY 

  • Fixed - 'Stay logged in' feature now only seen on the login page. We removed this feature from the intercom settings page. 

  • New feature - When you select HID devices - you can now look at the access logs for your devices. 

  • UI change - removed redundant label in mobile app login screen

  • Hand gesture settings for HID mobile credentials are now available within the BluSKY App

  • Now have the ability to revoke HID Mobile Credentials from the BluSKY app 
     

Scenario 1 - New User for BluSKY Mobile App and new User in HID Mobile Credential
  • Create a new User on BluSKY Web and assign him a username and password to login.

    1. An Email is sent to the user that he has received BluSKY Web Credentials (username and password)

  • Assign the HID Mobile Credential Card on Web, which sends invitation code to his default email.

  • Person then opens the Email received from BluSKY, that has the invitation code for HID Credential (as a deep link). The user then clicks on the (deep link) invitation code which will launch the BluSKY Mobile App directly to the BluID screen

    1. The person may need to solve the Login-In challenge and then automatically navigate to BluID Screen.

  • The user is shown a question: Do you want to download your Mobile Credential to this phone (yes/no)? (yes: redeem invitation code, no: don’t redeem)

    1. Additionally, provide a plus (+) button to redeem Invitation code, where the user enters the code manually and is still asked the same question as above.

  • User clicks on the YES button to map the current phone with the invitation code by initializing it.

  • BluSKY app then gets the Cards from the HID Origo SDK, which in turn gets from SeoS.

  • BluSKY app will display the card that is linked to the Phone.

  • Users now can do operations and gestures required to open the Doors / Portals etc.
     

Scenario 2 - User already logged in to BluSKY Mobile App
  • User is already logged in into the BluSKY Mobile App.

  • The Security Personnel will assign a HID Mobile Credential card to the user.

  • User will receive push notification to all his logged in devices.

  • When the user clicks on the Push notification, app will navigate the user to the BluID screen.

  • The user is shown a question: Do you want to download your Mobile Credential to this phone (yes/no)? (yes: redeem invitation code, no: don’t redeem)

    1. Additionally, provide a plus (+) button to redeem Invitation code, where the user enters the code manually and is still asked the same question as above.

  • User clicks on the YES button to map the current phone with the invitation code by initializing it.

  • BluSKY app then gets the Cards from the HID Origo SDK, which in turn gets from SeoS.

  • BluSKY app will display the card that is linked to the Phone.

BluREMOTE - improved location estimations 

Improved camera page to reload when browser comes back to foreground after a lapsed time 

Improvements

API - Now when you call the API user data retrieval options - you'll be able to get the date/timestamp when cards are added, updated, or deleted. 

Camera View List - You can now toggle between turning on/off motion detection of camera or multiple cameras simultaneously 

Continued improvements for battery optimization on your mobile phone - stopping the BLE scan from running in the background when phone is not in use 

Improved beacon functionality - added location beacon scan

Camera Configuration Page - Save button is now disabled after changes are submitted successfully 

Updated the following reports to the new gold standard: Expected Visitor Summary, Visitor Arrival Summary, Person Inactivity, Access Denied, and Vendor Status Reports

You can now see the facility code information for relay elevators and DDE elevators. 

Bug Fixes 

Fixed - When playing the video playback, if you switched over to another screen and come back to the screen later, you were unable to scroll. 

Fixed - When creating a rule (ex: door forced rule to send email and include a video link) and you wanted to select a camera, you would receive an error.

Fixed - When hovering over the information icon on a video view screen, you would receive an error

Fixed - Facility -> Elevator banks tab - error when trying to change the name of an elevator bank 

Fixed - HID callback issues - card accounting was not working
