Map File Setup

Overview

Floor plan map files need to adhere to certain standards in order to ensure correct operation

1. Map Size: 3500 x 2000 pixels (width by height)
2. Resolution: 125 dpi is functional (72 DPI will work on less detailed maps but lacked clarity on larger maps)
3. Size: 200-300 KB
4. Opacity: 35%
5. Remove all graphic details (except the walls and core structures) to make device location points clear on the map.
   1. Compass rose
   2. Any text or icons
   3. Representations of structures or objects that are not the walls or core structure (ex. furniture, cubicle walls)
