New Features


Person List
  • When users select multiple people and then select access assignment it will let the user select the Access Level, Reader, or Floor in a pop-up instead of a new window.  This preserves the user's selection(s) AND does not force a new search after each action is taken.  This will speed up users who have already setup their search in People and want to do various things without having to re-submit between actions.
  • A user can create a new Person directly from the search criteria screen, previously the create button was only visible when the search criteria was minimized.
  • When selecting the Access tab, the schedule for the reader or floor stop is seen in the list, no need to select each item to see the schedule assigned.
  • The Company field in the search criteria is now sticky between screen refreshes.  
Real-Time Events Screen
  • There is a new option to pause the Events screen.  When the screen is un-paused the screen will refresh with the latest event data.  This will enable users to scroll down the list in very active sites without being interrupted by updates that will re-sort the screen.
Occupancy List
  • A user can create a new Occupancy directly from the search criteria screen; previously the create button was only visible when the search criteria was minimized.
Simplified Permissions Model
  • BluBØX has started migrating the permissions (found in "Roles") to a newer more intuitive layout.  Now, all features under the Administration and Control menus have their own permission settings.  For each item, a role can have the option to Create, Edit, Delete, and View.  This will make adding the least amount of permissions needed to a Role very easy and granular.
Visitor Invitation
  • The new view list from the Person and Occupancy menus has been applied to the Visitor Invitation screen. This change provides three new capabilities:
    • Improved search criteria.
    • Sort a column the way the user wants.
    • Export the Visitor Invitation view to Excel or CSV, print the list, or simply copy it.
Visitor Administration
  • The new view list from the Person and Occupancy menus has been applied to the Visitor Administration screen. This change provides three new capabilities:
    • Improved search criteria.
    • Sort a column the way the user wants.
    • Export the Visitor Invitation view to Excel or CSV, print the list, or simply copy it.
  • Search criteria is now sticky when opened or the screen is refreshed.  Your last query is remembered and used.

Improvements & Fixes


Reports
  • Report headers have been standardized and now include the time and time zone on all reports. 
  • The Access Denied Report has additional details to enable an Occupant or Building Administrator to address access denied issues.  In particular, if the card has not been added to the controller the report will provide the card number and the person who is assigned the card, if known in BluSKY.  If the person is not known, then just the card information will be provided.
Access Level
  • The Company search criteria displays the Companies sorted by their type (Occupancies, Customer, Vendors, and Integrator). 
Badge Templates
  • Due to constraints within the Edge browser, we are forced to disable the ability to modify and create badge templates using Edge.  We will continue to monitor Edge and look forward to re-enabling it, once there is a fix from Microsoft.
