How to Use BluREMOTE for Doors, Turnstiles, and Gate Access

To use BluREMOTE for Doors, Turnstiles, and Gates access simply select the BluREMOTE icon on the BluSKY home page and select the door, turnstile or gate you want to access. The first green pop up box indicates that an access request has been made with your credential, the second green pop up box indicates that access has been granted. If access is denied, BluSKY will indicate why access was denied in another pop-up box. It’s convenient to use BluREMOTE a few feet away from the portal so that you don’t need to break stride to gain access.

How To Use BluREMOTE for Destination Dispatch Elevator Assignment

To use BluREMOTE for Destination Dispatch Elevator Assignment select the BluREMOTE icon on the BluSKY home page and select the “Elevators” tab. Choose the floor you wish to go to and then select the floor you are currently on. A green pop up box will indicate the elevator car assignment. If access is denied a second box will appear indicating why access was denied. The elevator car assignment will remain on your phone until you cancel it. This is helpful in the event you forget your car assignment. Using BluREMOTE you can get your elevator assignment as you enter the building and turn elevator wait time into walk time.

To use BluREMOTE for 2 Button Elevators simply select the BluREMOTE icon on the BluSKY home page and select the elevator tab. Then select the car you are getting into. The car number is usually indicated on the elevator door frame or somewhere in the elevator car. The first green box indicates that an access request has been made with your credential, the second green box indicates that access has been granted. Once you see the second green box select the floor that you wish to travel to on the elevator panel. If access is denied, BluSKY will indicate why access was denied in the second pop up box. It’s convenient to use BluREMOTE before you enter the car and select the floor you want to go to when you are in the car.

To use BluREMOTE for Simultaneous Turnstiles Access and Destination Dispatch Elevator Assignment select the BluREMOTE icon on the BluSKY home page and select the turnstile you want to go through. The turnstile will open and an elevator car assignment will be displayed in a green pop up box based on your default floor. If access is denied, BluSKY will indicate why access was denied in a second pop up box. If an elevator assignment can’t be granted select the Elevators tab. Choose the floor you wish to go to and then select the floor you are currently on. A green pop up box will indicate the elevator car assignment. It’s convenient to use BluREMOTE a few feet away from the turnstile so that you don’t need to break stride to gain access and get an elevator assignment. The elevator assignment remains on your phone until you clear it. This is helpful in the event you forget your car assignment.

Creating BluREMOTE Favorites 

Most people travel through the same small number of access points throughout the day. BluSKY lets you add BluREMOTE favorites to your BluSKY home screen for one-click access through any access point. To create a BluREMOTE favorite, go to BluREMOTE and hold down a door, turnstile or elevator for about five seconds. A pop up will ask you if you want to save the point as a favorite. Select “Yes”. Go back to the homepage to see the BluREMOTE favorite you just saved. Selecting this favorite will present your credential to that specific point. You can create as many BluREMOTE favorites as you would like.

BluSKY should be added to your smartphone home screen for quick access to BluREMOTE and other BluSKY features. The easiest way to use BluREMOTE is to log in once in the morning and remain logged in all day. In addition, setting up BluREMOTE favorites to your most frequently used doors, turnstiles, elevators, and floors provides one button release from the BluSKY home screen. Step 1: Browse to BluSKY.Blub0x.com

Step 2: Select the icon that is a box with an arrow

Step 3: Select the add to home screen button

Step 4: Rename the page to BluSKY

Step 5: Hit the add button

Step 6: BluSKY is now added to your home screen

Step 7: It’s a good idea to remember and save your password in the browser for quick and easy retrieval
